I’ve written to almost all producents of lightweight tents asking if they have something lightweight (around 1kg if 1p, 2kg if 2p), very waterproof, windsturdy, freestanding, double wall, which can be reliable and durable enough to be a house for a long term nomadic journey. I have Hubba Hubba NX now, but would expect similar zipper longevity.
I’m asking why are they. Big Agnes is freestanding, spacious and extremely well built. I just picked up the Dagger last week after debating all three choices as well. Are you and your buddy/dog very small? FWIW I used a BA copper spur for about 90 days in a dusty environment and the zippers failed. It’s not easy finding the most suitable tent. The Dagger's large vesibules are the most important differentiating feature over the Hubba for me. I'm not sure where you've seen that "pro" warranty policy from Nemo, I've had great CS from my pro orders, no issues.
I’ll not comment on the money, I’m living of savings and I’m supposed to be careful but priority is to find the right tent. I’ve no idea what else I can buy which can be more waterproof and resistant than a hubba hubba, possibly more wind proof than the galaxy, and not too heavy.

You might want to go and setup a tent to see how small they really are. Another exception I had forgotten about: one of the Big Sky Chinook variants. For that reason, I like the option to add NEMO's pawprint, but I wonder if it's worth the extra $50 versus bringing along a lightweight blanked to protect the tent floor. I’m sure the bowfinn is OK for that. Vertical walls really help. It offers ample headroom, gear storage pockets, and exceptional vestibules. It's also a bit lighter than the others. But again, even if you thought a Duomid was less stable and weatherproof than a Hubba Hubba NX or its closest competitors, it wouldn’t be by much. We are comfortable that this tent represents the best lightweight hiking tent currently on the market.
I was really impressed by its light weight, water resistance, ease of setup, roominess, double vestibules, etc! Till now it’s not clear if I’ll get a refund from MSR.
