Patterns of the Past has been published to commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Ontario Historical Society. A publication of the OHS Museums Committee. Unlike most Canadian-authored and American-authored books about the War of 1812, this notable, laudable, and eminently readable volume takes no sides.
