Joining the service has made me realize that little moments like that make you feel appreciated! Everyone is fighting a battle that you know nothing about. My Uncle served in Vietnam. I am still going to do it but damn that big green weenie is still …. Some of us aren’t heroes, and when you make us out to be, we feel guilty. Just wished I could have done more.
