I know that they tune their guitars down to C. I'm pretty sure Homme uses heavier strings to do that, but don't know the exact gauge. I'm pretty sure Josh Homme has used Ampeg V4 amps in the past and they have a very heavy rounded sound. The last couple Kysuss albums are amazing. yeah fatso rocks.
