There are two main ways to see the Rideau Canal: either you can travel by boat in the canal, or you can drive alongside. Glide along the Rideau Canal, and admire views of city attractions, including Chateau Laurier, the Canadian Museum of Nature, and the National Arts Center. Or head to one of Le Boat’s bases located between Ottawa and Kingston (in Smiths Falls or Seeley’s Bay) to rent a luxury self-drive houseboat that’s fully equipped for your boating pleasure.
